SWF and Flash templates

Hi everybody!!!!
I am using dreamweaver the last months and I am an amateur!!!
I am trying to create a photo gallery using flash....I found some already made
in the web but I cannot modify them....Which program is for modifying files
with .swf extention?
If there is any other program you can suggest me for creating them.....it
would be great as well!!!!!!!!!

SWF files are created in Flash, and are 'compiled' from the parent FLA
files. Unless you can find a Flash Decompiler somewhere, you will not be
able to modify the SWF files. You have to have the parent FLA file to
change, and then re-publish the SWF.

Your reply was very helpful......I realized that between the hundred of flash
templates I downloaded only the photo gallery does not have a parent file to be
modified.....
Does anybody know where to find a nice photo gallery...either for free or
not!!!
